Sunland Park Cultivation Facility

The client approached us with a large property in Sunland Park, New Mexico, conveniently located near the Texas border. This area has become a boomtown for cannabis businesses due to its proximity to multiple markets.

As a repeat client, the owner asked us to design two new buildings: a larger pre-engineered metal building for indoor cultivation and a smaller, street-facing structure for multi-tenant retail use, including a cannabis retail drive-through.

For this project, Studio Bliss provided a comprehensive suite of cannabis cultivation facility design services, including architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering. We also managed the project’s approval process, collaborating with the local planning board, fire department, and state building department.

A highlight of this project was designing the retail building to balance budget constraints while presenting a community-friendly facade. This thoughtful approach garnered the planning board’s full support and positioned the project for success.
