Cultivation Facility

The 1937 Group, a leading cannabis company in the Chicago metro area, tasked us with designing a new grow facility in Glenwood, located in the south suburbs. This ambitious project involved transforming an abandoned strip mall into a thriving center for cannabis cultivation, retail, and consumption.

Our primary focus was designing an extensive cultivation space tailored to the client’s operational needs while adhering to stringent industry standards. Recognizing the importance of community engagement, we collaborated with the client to align the project with local revitalization efforts, leveraging their strong relationship with the city.

In addition to cannabis cultivation design, we proposed a full exterior refresh to breathe new life into the neglected building. This redesign not only enhances the site’s aesthetic appeal but also contributes to the economic and social revitalization of the surrounding community.
